STS Inks Introduces Fluorescent DTF Inks
STS Inks, a global leader in wide-format and industrial inkjet ink manufacturing, has introduced the world’s first fluorescent DTF inks for direct-to-film garment printing. These fluorescent DTF inks allow businesses to create vibrant custom apparel that glows under black light and ultraviolet lighting conditions.
Additionally, the launch supports growing demand for bold apparel graphics, custom merchandise, and specialty printing applications within the fashion and promotional products industries.
Fluorescent DTF Inks for Apparel Printing
STS Inks fluorescent DTF inks help bold apparel colors stand out under standard and ultraviolet lighting conditions. Additionally, these inks support vibrant pink, purple, and yellow apparel graphics for fashion and promotional products.
This launch follows the introduction of the STS Inks compact modular DTF printing system and the company’s OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT certification for environmentally responsible printing solutions. As a result, businesses can produce vibrant apparel graphics while supporting safer textile production standards.
“We saw the excitement surrounding the black light room at a recent European Printing Event and knew now was the right time to get into the fluorescent game,” said Shahar Turgeman, who founded STS Inks in 1999. “We have a head start as the first ink manufacturer that can offer the marketplace a simple new way to make customized garments literally glow.”
The fluorescence is visible in black light and ultra-violet lighting, both of which are commonly deployed at concert and sports venues, as well as in other brightly lit environments.
Advanced 8-Channel DTF Printing System
STS Inks developed an advanced 8-channel DTF printing system that supports fluorescent yellow, fluorescent magenta, and dual white ink channels within a complete CMYK workflow. As a result, businesses can produce vibrant fluorescent apparel graphics without removing standard color cartridges.
The STS Inks Flexi DTF Pro edition simplifies production workflow by allowing users to select and mix spot colors directly within the software interface. Additionally, businesses can reduce production complexity without relying on external design software.
Among the many advantages of DTF over DTG (direct-to-garment) processes in using these inks are first, the fabric does not need labor-intensive pre-treatment; and second, DTF uses much less glow in the dark ink. Where DTG requires 200 percent white ink, DTF needs a mere 70 percent.
STS Inks partnered with Mutoh to develop a compact, production-ready DTF printing system for apparel businesses of all sizes. The system combines advanced printer technology, space-saving design, and professional fluorescent DTF inks for reliable custom apparel production.
The compact printer design fits easily onto tabletop setups or rolling stands, making it ideal for growing print shops with limited production space. Furthermore, businesses can improve workflow efficiency while producing vibrant fluorescent apparel graphics with dependable print quality.
Furthermore, STS Inks fluorescent DTF inks help businesses create eye-catching graphics while improving workflow efficiency and reducing production complexity. These solutions support vibrant color output, dependable print quality, and scalable production performance for growing apparel operations.
